Our client was experiencing an issue where sales weren’t being tracked accurately on Facebook Ads, despite actual sales coming through. The website was built on Shopify, so we stepped in to set up Facebook Conversion API to resolve the tracking gap.

Google Tag Manager Integration: We connected Google Tag Manager to streamline and manage tracking.
eCommerce Event Tracking: We implemented tracking for essential eCommerce events—view item, add to cart, checkout, add payment information, and purchase—all using Facebook’s recommended parameters.
Conversion API & Event Match Quality: With the Conversion API in place, we focused on optimizing event match quality for accurate and reliable tracking.
As a result, Facebook Ads Manager started accurately reflecting sales data. The client’s ad performance has improved significantly, with sales nearly doubling since the update.
